I just finished a new bag! It was very fun to make, but a lot of work. My roomie (who recently turned into a dashing runway model) is modeling the bag :).

Please donate to my mission trips!!!! Ask me how you can help 🙂

Hello everyone!

I have not been blogging for a while because this semester has been CRAZY!! But, I do have some great news!! I will be going on two mission trips this summer. One to Jamaica (July 20-26) and one to Colombia (August 5-12). During these mission trips, I will be traveling with 2 teams to spread the love of Jesus Christ. We will be sharing the name of Jesus Christ with those in need and those that have not heard the GOOD NEWS. Both of these trips together will cost $2,300. At first, this amount seems impossible to raise, but I know God provides. I am putting my faith in God and I trust that he will provide the funds through miraculous ways!

One way that I am raising money is by donations! Another way is by selling my crochet items!! I will be making headbands, purses, hats, slippers, etc in order to raise money for the trips! I will be updating my blog as money comes in, and also updating my etsy site with new items!!

Email me to find out how you can help: kari_lambrechts@pba.edu

Please be checking the sites!!!

Here is my ETSY :).

Wow! It has been so long since I posted! I have been busy with school, but am excited to show my new dress! I also recently had a birthday, and I got a SEWING MACHINE! That means there will be lots of new items coming soon! Thanks for checking out my blog!

I loved this pattern by the Crochet-to-go blog! Check out her blog here. She has great stuff! The flower is a pattern from Little Birdie Secrets!

I can’t wait to start sewing! Keep checking back to see new projects!

Headbands are my FAVORITE thing to crochet. They are so quick and so cute to wear 🙂 and they are great birthday/christmas gifts! I’ll be selling them on my ETSY for $10 a piece! You can custom order them too!

This is me & my cousin Ethan!

Thanks for checking out my blog! Take a look at my black bag, or at my other bags.

Psalm 46:1-2
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.

I have been working on a new black bag that is similar to the pink one!  Tonight, I added the flower 🙂 which is a pattern from attic 24. Sorry for the bad quality… I really should invest in a good camera!

I’d love to hear what you think & if you have any ideas for upcoming projects!

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

I’ve had this idea to start a crochet blog for the longest time. I love looking at other blogs, and I love how creative they all are, but I never wanted to start one because I had no idea how to deck it out! But my amazing friend Michelle @ a simple conversation offered to design my header for Hooked on Kari! I’m so thankful!

Check out Michelle’s great blog HERE. It’s so great & has tons of pictures!

Here are some of the great crochet items I found this morning! Take a look!

These are so cute & can be found at Two Seaside Babes

These hearts can be found here.

Attic 24 is my FAVORITE crochet blog. Here are some great pictures of her stuff!

She makes me so jealous! Please look at her blog here! You will be blown away.

Yay! I have 3 bags ready to sell! Let me know what your favorites are!

This yellow bag I made to be a beach bag. Its a great size to put your towel, sunscreen, & books for the beach!

I’ve been wanting to make the Fat Bottom Bag from Happy Hooker for the longest time but never had the wooden handles to do it! I found a pattern by Bendbeanies (I love this blog!) that makes the bag with straps! Anyways, here is my bag.

Today I am going to crochet a flower on it to spice it up a little.

This bag will be going on my ETSY site soon!

Keep checking for more updates soon!

Last year I made my friend Emily’s sister a headband for Christmas! She loved it!

Here are some pictures of Michelle modeling her present! SO CUTE 🙂

This is my first post & actually my first blog ever! I am going to post pictures of the new items I crochet and also post pictures of my favorite crocheted items :). I will post little bits of my life, my family, my boyfriend, recipes, photos, and more. Keep checking in for updates!

I just finished watching The Count of Monte Cristo while I crocheted a cell phone case for my roomie Jen!
